The Words You Use To Describe Yourself!
The first step to becoming a better version of yourself is not to practice or do anything that requires extreme determination. It is simply the ability of an individual to ACCEPT who they are and where they come from.
To accept the deepest and most notorious parts of your personality, you must first become completely aware of them. This can be best achieved by taking a self-analysis test to identify your personality or doing practices that help you understand more details about yourself.
How to know who you are
Another way of achieving this is by talking to the people who are close to you and asking them about obvious and nuanced traits of your character or personality. Much of what we feel and understand about ourselves stems from our belief system, which is dedicated to ourselves. This is self-belief.
What you feed your self-belief with is what it grows to believe in. This is where words step in. There was an interesting story about how words have powers and why they have spellings. The analogy is quite simple to understand. The story mentioned that words have immense value and potential. A charismatic essence to them that makes them highly potent in terms of the power changes they can create. They cast spells. This is the reason why they have spellings. Words have energy that can be articulated to elevate or demote any idea or thought.
Why are words so strong?
Words can be termed thoughts that are given energy, which then flows in a way that helps our self-belief grow stronger. It is for this reason that you must be cautiously aware of the things and the words that you use to describe yourself. Essentially, after becoming aware of your capabilities, thoughts, and behaviour, you are then open to the abundance of the power of words. Focusing and stressing on the positive factors, reviewing and changing the negative ones, and delicately handling where your attention, time, and energy are invested.
Talk to yourself
Making it a habitual practice to talk positively to oneself and enabling yourself to receive the appreciation that will soon come from others because of this practice makes your ability to have greater self-esteem and stronger self-belief plausible.
Learn Through Fun and Entertainment
The new animated film called ‘Inside Out 2’ has a fantastic message! A message worth sharing with everyone. The film follows the story of a young girl named Riley and how is she transitioning towards her teenage as puberty starts to set in. A key element of that film was the way she grew her self-belief. Initially, when she was devoid of any insecurities, her self-belief was mainly positive, but as she changed her behaviour because of greater opportunities coming her way, she was overwhelmed because of her emotions and how to handle them.
It is interesting to know how crucial words can be during this process and how much influence they hold. Lastly, they also showed her gaining back her positive mindset and self-belief as she started using positive words about herself.
Are you Riley?
In a nutshell, we all have a little part of Riley within us that gets insecure when struck with challenges and overwhelming situations, what matters more is to focus on the words that you use to describe yourself and elevate your thoughts to be resilient to any other forces of insecurities!
