For many a vision board is about choosing words and images that they feel represent what they desire, often their goals, in most cases those goals are chosen by their ego, the conscious mind, and not by their higher self.
Which means you are unlikely, to find it easy to bring your goals to life, as they are not what you really want at a deep soulful level. They are called vision boards because they come from the vision of what you would love in your life, not what you think you would love in your life. I know they don’t work as I have used vision boards for over 5 years now, yet the most successful one to date was visualized whilst in a meditative state.
I often hear remarked that “I started but didn’t finish the board, or I don’t have it on display”.
The reason being there is a big difference between that which is created from your heart – love, and that which we believe to be true based on our expectations and others ideas. When you create from your higher self, you want to have your vision board on display, you know this is what you want, and you are going for it.
With a vision board the universe conspires to bring you the connections, the opportunities and the result as you visually remind yourself and the universe to bring you your vision. I made my last vision board in January 2016. Whilst it may have taken a year or so for some of my choices to come to fruition I am not worried, as I knew that certain aspects would take longer to come into being, than others.
I have learned over the last 8 years it is pointless pushing, all it does is take you off on the wrong path, creating delays.
As we are approaching the end of 2017, now is a good time to create your own vision board, from your higher self, rather than relying on your business plan, or ego based goals. You will be amazed at what you really want, rather than what you think you want.
