What is “It’s My Pension” Workshop?

“It’s My Pension” Workshop is structured to provide a clear and concise understanding of why it is important to have a retirement strategy in place for your retirement, whether by using an existing investment portfolio, such as a pension plan or investments or to start saving towards retirement.

The workshop is designed to show how by educating yourself you will be able to make sound financial decisions regarding your future retirement and put in place a financial plan, which will start you on the path to financial freedom and peace of mind in retirement.

You will leave the workshop with the knowledge you need to ensure your retirement is one to be enjoyed rather than one of just surviving!

Who is should attend?

“It’s My Pension” Workshop is for those who want to make the most of their retirement and who know they may not have the kind of retirement they would like.

“When it comes to my pension, I hit a brick wall, I don’t know what to do, but I know I need to do something!”  Is this you, or are you worried your retirement portfolio will fall short of what you need?

Statistically it has been proven that we are living longer, therefore your pension needs to provide for a longer retirement. Worryingly more than half of the people retiring now are flat broke and need to find work to supplement their income, but where do they find the work,  unemployment has risen substantially over the last few years?

Even those already receiving their pensions are dipping into their savings as they struggle to cope with the increase in living costs, such as food, utility bills and if they can afford it motoring costs, with benefits remaining static or falling in real terms due to inflation.

If you have a pension or investments and want to make sure you receive the kind of income you want or even need in your retirement, then “It’s My Pension” Workshop is for you.

In the workshop you will learn:

  • Why it is essential to take action now to protect your retirement portfolio.
  • How to reduce the high fund fees and management charges imposed on your funds.
  • How to make the most of the funds you have already invested.
  • To plan for your retirement, to have financial freedom and peace of mind!
  • Your options to save towards your retirement.

My client Sam choose to work wirh me when she realised she had a potential pension income of £4,000 per annum after being made redundent.  During the review of her pension we discussed her finanical goals for her retirment and with the involvment of a financial advisor Sam ensured she had in place a retirment plan which would allow her to achieve the income she requires. Sam has now set in place investments which should provide her with a potential pension income of £50,000 per annum.  Which would you prefer?

The workshop is to educate and inform you, no advice is given and anything mentioned is for you to know what you can do for your retirement.  Should you wish to discuss your retirement planning you will need to speak with a Financial Adviser.

Note: The value of your investment can fall as well as rise and you may not get back the amount you invested.
